Heaven And Sheol - What Of The Dead?

This detailed Bible study lesson will help us develop Biblical understanding of Heaven and Sheol (Hades) with respect to the status of the dead in the grave. We will also lightly discuss aspects about Old Testament salvation. What will be revealed in this lesson is that there are not many Scriptures which permit an absolute understanding about the nature of Sheol and Heaven; including the status of the dead in the grave. We can come close, however, with some deductive reasoning.

There are a growing number of explanations coming from some preachers which are actually pure speculation theories. We need to understand what the Scriptures plainly say in order to keep ourselves from accidentally calling something Biblical when it is actually speculation. This isn't to say that some speculations are not helpful, but they should exist as simple deductions derived from the plain meaning of other Scriptures.
